As a local, we only visit downtown when the flow of tourist slows down. We sat at the bar and received great service. Absolutely one of the best salads I have tasted. The salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The dressing, served on the side, wasn't even necessary as the flavors of the salad itself were delicious enough that I only occasionally dipped my cucumbers in. Highly recommend!

Cream of Crab Soup

I am from New England and love my clam chowder but this is a strong competitor for creamy deliciousness! Will definitely be back!

Louisiana Style Char-Broiled Oysters

My fiance and I ate at Mcgarveys and had the Char-Broiled Oysters. I can sincerely say they are the best char-broiled oysters I have ever eaten. They are better than the ones I ate in Louisiana which says a lot since I have literally been obsessed with Louisianas oysters since I left. Hands down a 10 out of 10.

Grilled Fish of the Day Sandwich

Went out on a Saturday night and had an awesome time. The bartenders were awesome and the food and drinks were amazing. Tons of beers to choose from. Definitely will be back soon!
